"One word...awesome. Great people, beautiful new hotel location, and everything else that an otaku needs to survive in this anime world."

Youmacon 2010 is a go. Metro Detroit's first and only anime convention is returning for its sixth year, and it's better than ever. Here at Youmacon, thousands of otaku from Michigan and beyond meet anime voice actors face to face, compete for masquerade and cosplay trophies, and shop for treasures of their favorite fandom. Youmacon's original events immerse you in the experience of becoming a Japanese chess piece in a game of shougi, leading a team to the Star in a live action Mario Party battle, and being served by maids in a relaxing cafe. And the fun never stops, because Youmacon provides all-night gaming and video programming, as well as a dedicated video/audio track featuring anime music videos and beyond. So let us exceed your expectations for the sixth time.

Thank you to everyone who attended this year's con and make Youmacon 2010 a success. Please visit our forums to find updates for Youmacon 2011!
